5 ways to better your brand photography:

  1. Use professionally taken pictures

  2. Use a consistent photography style

  3. Use on-brand photo filter

  4. Show images with your ideal customers

  5. Wear on-brand colors in your portraits

1. Use professionally taken pictures

It might be a no-brainer, but I highly recommend either hiring a professional photographer or use of professionally taken stock photos to create your brand images. When you tell someone about your offerings, they are going to check out your foundation, such as website and social media, to make sure you are credible. You don't want them to take their business elsewhere because your images don't look professional enough. Right?

2. Use a consistent photography style

The easiest way to make sure your photography style is consistent is by using the same person for all your photos. When your photos are consistent, it is more likely that people will trust you. We all know, in business everything is based on trust and building trust.

3. Use on-brand photo filter

If you currently cannot afford to hire a professional photographer, you can create a consistent photography style by applying photo filters to your images. However, make sure that all your photos are well lit and mix in some stock photography to position yourself as an expert in your field. You can get great stock photos from any of the websites below!

4. Show images with your ideal customers

We only purchase from vendors who serve people like us. Why? Here comes the trust factor again. Seeing other people similar to us being satisfied and happy ensures us about our upcoming investment.

5. Wear on-brand colors in your portraits

The purpose of these photos is to use them on your website and other marketing efforts, so it’s a good idea to keep your brand colors in mind when choosing your outfits. If you wear colors that are completely off-brand, you risk a chance of clashing with the other visual elements of your branding.

All in all, these are all small things but essential in looking trustworthy and can change the way people perceive your business. After all, we all desire not only to sound like but also to look like the industry experts we are.
